Role Description

This is a 100% Contract role(freelancing) for a Senior Hydraulics Engineer -  Water Projects.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Delivery of specialized Project Engineering Documentation within project deadlines and expected quality
• Independent management of your scope with increased responsibility and ownership mindset
• Full delivery of Hydraulic Design and Studies for Water Projects (Hydraulic and Operation Philosophy reports, Isometric Drawings, PIDs, Pipe Stress Analysis, Wall Thickness reports etc)
• Collaboration with other departments and Engineering Managers for Project Coordination

• Mandatory - Ability to deliver independently the complete set of Hydraulic Studies for Water Projects
• Mandatory - Minimum 4 year studies at University Degree level in Mechanical/Hydraulics Engineering (MEng strongly preferred) 
• Mandatory - Over 5 years of demonstrated professional engineering-design experience, specifically in Water Transmission and Storage Systems.
• Mandatory - Over 3 years of proven, professional experience and engineering delivery in WTS projects in the region of Saudi Arabia and/or the Middle East.
• Mandatory - Strong proficiency of the required relevant software to prepare the required documentation.
• Mandatory - Professional-level English (C1/C2) for local technical & PM coordination
• Strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented approach to Saudi Water standards, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines independently.
• Experience in Project Management either as Project Manager or in other leading roles within a Project structure is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Professional Network in the Middle East is a strong plus.
• Entrepreneurial and strong ownership mindset is mandatory.
